Guided Tours of the School can be arranged on almost any weekday in term-time or by arrangement in the holidays. Tours normally begin between 10.00am and 11.30am or between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Visitors will be shown buildings that are representative of the oldest in the School, the expansion of the nineteenth century and modern developments.
The Standard Tour lasts about 1½ hours. The Full Tour lasts about 2 hours. The itinerary depends on the length of the tour. Some or all of the following buildings will be included in the tour:
- The Fourth Form Room
- Old Speech Room Art Gallery
- Speech Room
- Museum of Harrow Life
- Alex Fitch Room
- Sports Centre
- The Vaughan Library (by special arrangement.)
Tours begin outside Speech Room. Directions will be sent to you after you book.
We regret that we cannot take individuals or very small groups on tours of Harrow School. If individuals would like to visit the School there is an Open Tour once a term, usually on a Saturday at around 2pm. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about the Open Tour.
The organiser of each group is admitted free, as are adults accompanying school parties.
Guides speaking French and German are usually available.
Guidebooks, postcards, mugs and many other souvenirs are on sale during the tour.
